Get to know us!

When checking out churches, it's important to know who they are, what they believe, their larger history, and what it all means for you and your family. We want to make sure you get answers to all your questions about all things Longview Naz! Check out the sections below to learn more, and reach out if you have further questions!

  • Here at LCN, our focus is always on Jesus Christ, more than anything else. We strive to be a church that follows after God's heart, from how we worship to how we serve in our community to how we interact with one another. We are a bunch of individuals united with one another through our hope in Jesus. And we greatly desire as many people as possible to experience that hope with us! Click the button below for a more detailed look at who we are based on our mission, vision, and beliefs.

  • Our local church community began as a dream. In 1951, a group from Kelso Church of the Nazarene felt that God was leading them to establish a Nazarene community in neighboring Longview. As a result, on November 4, 1951, Longview Church of the Nazarene came into being, holding our first services at the Longview YMCA. Just 6 years later, we moved into our present location, right across the street. Throughout our 70+ year history, we have been a church community of consistent obedience, seeking to be a place of welcome. We have - and continue to be - people who seek to love God and love others, serving our neighbors with the Love of Jesus Christ.

  • We are committed to constantly seeking how God would have us move forward. Our prayer is for discernment in how we might take our next faithful step. As we continue to move forward into an ever-changing future, we desire to be a place of hope and belonging; a place where we celebrate and live out the mission of Christ.

  • Most importantly, know that you are always welcome at LCN. We’re saving a seat for you! Wherever you’re at in your faith journey, we hope you find a home here. We want you to grow in your relationship with Christ and would love the opportunity to walk alongside you as you do. If you want to learn more or reach out to us, click the button below.
